| Carnival Museum in the Niggelturm In the Carnival Museum in the Niggelturm, visitors can experience the Gengenbach carnival and its history up close outside the fifth season. Life-size carnival characters and many different costumes, accessories and precious wooden masks are displayed and explained in detail. Alongside the Gengenbach characters, you will find costumes and masks from all over the Swabian/Alemannic region. The multi-media show visualises the carnival in an especially vivid manner. The view from the top of the tower alone makes it worth climbing up the winding wooden stairs.
